Masons Cove Elementary to hold open house to say farewell to old school

In a few short months, Masons Cove Elementary School will be no more -- the old Masons Cove Elementary, at least. Construction continues on an entirely new school, located behind the current facility, which was built in 1961.

This Sunday, April 17, the community is invited to attend a special open house from 2 – 4 p.m. at the current school to share stories and relive memories before the current school is demolished.

“We wanted to take a moment to remember the school’s past and to look forward to a brand new future,” said Masons Cove Elementary principal Ashley McCallum.

Parking will be limited, so please plan accordingly.
