Oak Grove Elem. receives $1000 grant from Exxon/Mobil
Oak Grove Elementary school has been named a recipient of the Exxon/Mobil Grant in the amount of $1,000. This grant will be used to help buy materials for math remediation.
Funded by the Exxon Mobil Corporation, the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide Exxon or Mobil retailers like John C Newton and Stop In Food Stores with an opportunity to invest in the future of their community through educational grants to neighborhood schools.
"Our thanks and appreciation goes to Mr. John Newton and Rob Hendren and the ExxonMobil Alliance Program for honoring Oak Grove with this grant," said Oak Grove Principal Cris Flippen.
